ISDS and KC Reg puppies out of two fully health tested, hip scored working, trialling sheepdogs.
Dam – Pentir Lyra Love at Kielia [Tweedale Jamie x Graylees Cet] blue tri-colour bitch with R Hutchinson’s Sweep and Wendale Roy in her pedigree. Hips: 4/5 Tested clear for: CEA, CL, DM, Raine Syndrome, IGS, MDR1, NCL, PRA, SN, TNS and Gonio.
Lyra is a stylish, classy bitch with a good will to please and a natural talent on sheep. She works daily and can be seen working by any prospective owners. Good outrun, knows her sides, calls off, started on the whistle and coming on really nicely. Will trial in the fall. Lyra also does agility, and will begin competition winter 2021. She has her Bronze, Silver and Gold KCGCs and comes into the agricultural college where I work to help with students mental health issues. She is a confident, versatile, outgoing girl and very friendly with other dogs, children and people. I never worry about taking her anywhere; pub whilst football final is on, busy country fair, middle of the city – she’s a great allrounder.
Sire – Westgrove Brock [Lignum Brin x Meg] blue merle dog with Kevin Evan’s Jimmy, van Der Sweeps Gary and Dalzeil’s Spot in his pedigree. Hips: 3/4 Elbows: 0/0 Tested clear for: MDR1, IGS, DM, NCL, AOD, PLL, CEA, GG, TNS, SN, Von Willibrands and Raine Syndrome Broccoli is a fantastic natured dog, very soft and cuddly away from sheep. On sheep he is strong, stylish and powerful, even with sticky sheep. He is a forward type of dog, never worried in any work situation. He is clean and quiet in his kennel and a very cool, calm dog; nothing frightens him. Works large groups or small, great at penning up on his own, does a lot of road work and can be seen in any day to day working situation. He has also worked cattle.
Puppies - Will be dual registered, vet checked, wormed, flead, vaccinated, microchipped and insured. They will be raised in the kitchen in the heart of the home but be outside in our fields with mum often, socialised with other dogs, children and people. Pups will encounter different surfaces, novel objects, sounds and smells designed to improve confidence and proprioception from a young age. They will follow puppy culture and do Early Neurological Stimulation. Whilst in the whelping area, they will be paper trained and understand a puppy recall, will have been in the car and seen traffic and livestock. They will be raised to the best possible standard with the best food and care. Prospective buyers are welcome to come and visit anytime, the more the better!
