"Alice is an excellent breeder and puts everything into the puppies. They are well socialised , comfortable around other dogs , children and various different noises including fireworks. Ontari’s good nature and socialisation from a young age means that she gets on amazingly well with all the animals that she shares her home with and is not fazed by her three rabbit siblings hopping around her. Alice involved us throughout the 10 weeks the puppies were with her. A Facebook group was used to post pictures of the puppies so we could watch them grow and see personalities develop. Alice then helped to match us with the puppy that best suited our lifestyle. Ontari has a great temperament and loves everyone she meets. We wanted a dog with a high working drive to go on to do Agility, Flyball and Heelwork to music and Alice couldn’t have matched us with a better puppy. She is intelligent , focused and wants to do well and please in anything she does , whether that be an obedience class or just simply fetching her ball from the river out on her walk!" - Lucy Costin, Ontari's owner, Nature Litter |
Ted is going to be staying with my sister while we are away, and he's completely taken on the big brother roll! My sister said how marvellous Ted is and how well trained he is, but that's mostly thanks to you for the amazing start you have him before he came to us. I don't know how I'm going to cope not seeing him for 8 days, but I know he will be well looked after. I just wanted to say thank you again for allowing him into our lives - Rachel Louise East, Ted's Owner, Disney Litter
I had a very long checklist of things I was looking for in a breeder; Alice ticked every box and more. From the moment I first saw the puppies, it was clear that they had been very well sociliased, well cared for, and were exceptionally loved. |
All I can say is we have had very few worries at all with Murphy. She was very calm at first and clearly very keen to please us. The paper training and initial commands were fantastic not only to give her a foundation but also to start to teach her to look to please us. House training was uneventful (in a good way). She was completely done by 14 weeks and holding it all night. In terms of personality she is calm and pretty quiet, very eager to please. With people she is friendly, excitable and very cuddly. She loves attention. Her manners are perfect - she is naturally submissive and waits for permission to do things around the home. She is very keen to get things right. With other dogs she was initially very submissive but the dog trainer says this is just good manners. She seems to have a natural preference for dogs who play like she does by running and 'boxing' rather than bundling and biting, but she plays with anyone who is interested (once I have put the ball away)! She has a natural chase drive but has been very quick to learn that we will not always be throwing a ball. She is naturally independent and decisive and training has worked best when we have used this to our advantage. She doesn't like to be 'made' to do things but if given the choice she will choose to do what she knows we want. She has learned the names of all her toys and all of us and seems to enjoy being part of the family. The only thing we have had any issue with is eating - she isn't naturally driven by food (except training snacks like salmon, chicken, duck etc). Training we use half treats and half play (she loves chase and tuggy and hide and seek!). If we use tuggy toys or balls etc for training she ignores treats. She rarely finishes her food and often leaves it entirely after a few mouthfuls. We are changing foods this month to see if she finds Orijen more tempting but in the meantime I am adding chicken/tuna/bacon in small amounts to make it more appealing. She is gaining weight and growing well according to the vets chart so it might just be she doesn't need as much. She likes running in circles and we have taught her clockwise and anti-clockwise to help her make the most of this !!! She has always been fine with nail clipping etc and vet exams, just stands and waits for it to be over. She really is a most delightful dog and people comment all he time about how calm and loving and obedient she is. I feel like you should get a lot of the credit for that because it honestly doesn't feel like we've had to work get hard at it!! - Esme Floyd Hall, Murphy's Owner, Disney Litter |
I have known Alice for many years and I have known Lacey since she was a puppy and I love her temperament and work ethic. I was looking for a new agility dog but also needed a dog that would be great with a 12 month old child and also a 80 year old with dementia as I am my dads full time carer. I knew Alice would do an amazing job raising these puppies as she did with the last litter and I have been very pleased with Remi and her temperament and how she fits in with our family and will definitely get my next puppy from her. Remi has the drive for training but also settles down in the evening, what more could you ask for. - Nikki Folland, Remi's Owner, Nature Litter |
Piper is Loving dog, loves people. We have had a few green eyed moments around my others (she knows she's mine ) but all good as she is a clever girl. She isn't worried by hundreds of noisy dogs at a show! She has a good work ethic and will play train and doesn't get distracted. I do her nails regularly and she is very chilled, also check her teeth - great handling at a young age. House training went well as it was mostly door open weather so no is issues there. She is good on the lead and can walk all six together. - Hal Hartley, Piper's Owner, Disney Litter
I chose one of Alice's puppies because I knew that the health and temperament of her puppies were Alice's priority. Our puppy is confident and respectful of other dogs. She has become a happy member of our family. Our puppy is very sociable, responsive and wants to please. She relates well to my other two dogs knowing when to play and when they need their own space. She is ready for action when we are but is also very happy to cuddle on the sofa. She is a sociable polite puppy who wants to learn and please. |
